• Appointments at the Student Health Center are made by calling the Appointment Line at 512.245.2161. You will speak with an appointment clerk, who can make same-day appointments, future appointments or offer self-care service.

• For directions to the Student Health Center, please click here. Please allow ample time to get to the SHC because there are construction projects on campus.

• Patients should arrive at least 15 minutes early for an appointment. Please check in at the self-check-in-computers at the lobby when you arrive. New patients will also register for Online Student Health (OSH) at check-in.

• Please bring a photo ID to your appointment. Verification of identity is required.

• The Student Health Center has charges for services, including office visits, so please bring a form of payment. The SHC accepts cash, checks, credit cards, Bobcat Bucks and most flex (HSA) cards. Bring your insurance card if you would like us to file a Courtesy Claim, or fill out the Insurance Information Form and fax it in with a copy of your insurance card to 512.245.1677.

• If you need to cancel or change your appointment, you must call at least two hours in advance. (Psychiatry patients must call 24 hours in advance.) You may also log on to the Online Student Health (OSH) portal to cancel an appointment. When the SHC is closed, please use OSH to cancel.
   
• There will be a no-show/cancellation charge of $10 for any patients who do not show up to an appointment, cancel with less than two hours notice, or are late to an appointment.

• Psychiatry appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. The no-show charge for all psychiatry appointments is $20.
