College Student Health Data
The Health Promotion Services department conducts research on the Texas State University Campus. The top two national research tools we utilize are the CORE Institute Alcohol and Drug Survey and the American College Health Association-National College Health Assessment II (NCHA). Below is information on our tools.
The Core Institute is the largest national Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) database about college student's drinking and drug use in the country. They offer a comprehensive range of cost-effective surveys that measure risky behaviors.
NCHA - National College Health Assessment
The National College Health Assessment (NCHA) is a nationally recognized research survey that can assist you in collecting precise data about your students’ health habits, behaviors, and perceptions.
