All international
students on non-immigrant visas are subject to the mandatory health
insurance requirement. These visa categories include, but are not limited
to: B2, F1, F2, H1, H4, J1, J2, L1, L2. Please
review the policy, which contains changes that became effective 12/05/03.View the
University’s policy.
International students
are required to purchase the student health insurance plan or to show
proof of comparable insurance to the Student Health Center.
You can purchase other benefits in addition to the basic plan or add dependents to your plan online
The health insurance
fee is automatically added to the fee bill at the time of registration.
Students who wish to
have this fee waived must request an insurance waiver prior to their
payment deadline. This must be
done for each semester you register.
