Insurance Waiver and Refund Deadlines, Coverage Dates and Cost

 The health insurance fee is automatically added to the fee bill at the time of registration.

• Students who wish to have this fee waived must request an insurance waiver prior to their payment deadline. This must be done for each semester you register.

IMPORTANT: You are responsible for obtaining health insurance coverage that will meet the health insurance coverage requirements recently set by **federal healthcare reform laws.**

Summer 2013 Waiver Deadlines

• Submit your Summer I 2013. (Available through June 3, 2013.)
  
• Submit your Summer II 2013. (Available through July 8, 2013.)

Insurance Requirements

All international students on non-immigrant visas are subject to the mandatory health insurance requirement. These visa categories include, but are not limited to: B2, F1, F2, H1, H4, J1, J2, L1, L2.

International students are required to purchase the student health insurance plan or show proof of comparable insurance to the Student Health Center.
