Appointments

We are an appointment-only facility. You must make an appointment in order to see a medical provider.

How to make a medical appointment:

What to know about making appointments:

  • About the Online Appointment system:
    • The first time you use the Online Appoinment system, you will be asked to register and set up a user name and password.
    • When setting up your account, you must enter your full name as it appears in the University database. For example, if your name is Michael J. Smith, but you go by Mike, you must enter Michael.
    • All Online Appointment confirmation e-mails are sent to your Texas State e-mail address
  • Helpful hints for when you call:
    • Please be in a quiet place with your:
      • Texas State student ID number
      • Paper
      • Pen
      • Class schedule
      • Calendar
    • If needed, please check your temperature before you call.
  • Nurses answer the appointment lines.
    • If there is more than one appointment reason, please tell the nurse. The appointment may need to be split so more serious problems can be taken care of first.
    • Sometimes a medical appointment is not needed and the nurse may be able to give you self-care advice.
  • Appointments are limited, so if you must cancel your appointment, please call (512) 245-2167, option 1, or you may cancel your appointment online . Please do so as soon as possible so we can fit in people who are in need of medical care.
