Health Education Resource Center

The Health Education Resource Center (HERC) is conveniently located  on the second floor of the Student Health Center. The HERC offers a computer lab, written health materials and a study table for students to utilize. All HERC services are free of charge to current students.

Computer Lab
The computer lab is equipped with multiple computers and a printer so students can conduct research for class projects or personal health concerns. The lab is open the same hours as the Student Health Center.

8 a.m. — 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday
9 a.m. — 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday

Brochures
Whether you want a brochure for yourself, for a friend, or for an entire group, the HERC has a number of free brochures on a variety of health topics. Many students pick up brochures from the HERC to support class presentations on a health topic and for personal health education. To order brochures and have them mailed to you, click here.

Study Area
The HERC can serve as a quiet study area for individual students or members of group projects.

Allies of Texas State

The HERC is a 100 percent safe place for members of the LGBTQ community.
All HERC staff are members of Allies at Texas State.
